Disability Employment Advisers specialise in finding the right support to help clients who have a disability or health condition into work. They support the work coaches with these clients.
You can ask for an appointment with a DEA at your local Jobcentre for more specialist information, advice and support.
The DEA is the first point of contact for Healthcare Professionals and Partners, working with those who have a disability or health condition, that need benefit or employment support.

Disability Employment Advisers support Work Coaches with clients who have a disability or health condition. In essence, Disability Employment Advisors play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their employment goals, participate fully in the workforce and receive appropriate support from Health Care Professionals, Charities and Partners.
