Music and Movement, Corton House Community Café
Corton House Community Café – a regular monthly café for older people offering a chance to socialise, free lunch and refreshments – is partnering Age UK Norwich, Friend in Deed, and Glow-Worms to launch a new initiative called “Music and Movement”.
This exciting program aims to bring together individuals of all ages within the community to experience the well-being benefits of music and movement. These intergenerational activities provide a range of benefits for participants, including improved mood, rekindled childhood memories, positive development for young children and babies, opportunities to build new friendships, and the joy of singing together as a group.
We believe the Music and Movement Club offers a valuable opportunity to foster connection and well-being within the Norwich community.
The club runs from 1-3pm on the first Tuesday of the month at the Jubilee Community Centre, Long John Hill, Lakenham. Starting Tuesday 2nd July. Those interested can arrange free transport subject to availability by calling Norwich Door to Door on 01603 776 735 and mentioning Corton House Community Café.
