Dog’s Trust: Hope Project
Our Hope Project supports dog owners experiencing homelessness across the UK. We’ve been running our Hope Project for more than 25 years. Our aim is always to help keep people and their pets together.
Through our vet scheme, we provide access to free vet care for dog owners across the UK. We support almost 500 dogs, funding more than 1,500 vet treatments each year. We also work with homelessness services through our Welcoming Dogs endorsement scheme, providing free, bespoke support for homelessness services to become dog-friendly.
As well as supporting dog owners experiencing homelessness, and homelessness services, we also work to promote the human-animal bond and raise awareness of the importance of supporting people to stay with their pets.

Whether that’s supporting you with free vet care and finding dog-friendly accommodation, or giving you a helping paw with advice on how to look after your pal, we’ll always be here for you and your pooch.
